Vape Detection for Lithuanian Schools and Workplaces
Vape Guardian helps gimnazijos, progymnasiums, vocational schools and employers in Lithuania detect e-cigarette use in toilets and changing rooms, alerting staff in about 5 seconds.
Lithuania already bans online e-cigarette sales and sales in education, health and sports venues, and a draft law before the Seimas proposes banning disposable e-cigarettes too. Here is how our system supports school directors.
Learning, Not Just Detecting
Our education course, developed with LifeLab at the University of Southampton, helps teachers talk about vaping with pupils.
Designed in the UK
Our UK team builds both the sensor and the software, so one supplier looks after everything.

E-Cigarette Rules in Lithuania
Under Lithuania's Law on the Control of Tobacco, Tobacco Products and Related Products, the legal age for buying, possessing and using e-cigarettes is 18, and using them is not allowed in educational institutions and various other public places (Nordic Welfare Centre). Since 1 July 2022, e-liquids with any flavour other than tobacco, with or without nicotine, have been banned (NTAKD). Sensors help schools make these rules stick.
Proven in Hundreds of UK Schools
Lithuanian schools can adopt a system used in hundreds of UK schools to monitor toilets without cameras or microphones.
They pick up a single puff of vape and send alerts to staff straight away, they're that accurate.
