Brunei Vaping Rules
Under the Tobacco Order 2005, the import and sale of e-cigarettes is treated as prohibited, and vaping is banned wherever smoking is. That covers almost all enclosed public places and workplaces, as well as pavements and areas within 6 metres of buildings (Tobacco Control Laws; Ministry of Health).
Managers of these places must tell anyone smoking to stop, ask them to leave if they refuse, and call a police or health enforcement officer if needed. Failing to do so is an offence (Tobacco Order 2005, section 16). In 2025 the Ministry of Education also ran programmes for school leaders on handling smoking and vaping offences (Borneo Bulletin, 2025). Sensors tell managers and teachers when it is happening.
Our 100-day money-back guarantee lets schools, restaurants and offices in Brunei try vape detection with confidence. If it isn’t right for you, we’ll refund you.

Sensors for Brunei Sectors
Secondary schools, sixth form centres, colleges, government buildings, restaurants, hotels and malls in Bandar Seri Begawan and every district can use sensors to stay smoke-free.
Used in Hundreds of UK Schools
Brunei schools can adopt a system already used in hundreds of UK schools to monitor toilets, with no cameras or microphones.
They pick up a single puff of vape and send alerts to staff straight away, they're that accurate.
— KING EDWARDS SCHOOL - SOUTHAMPTON
We have been able to reduce the number of vaping incidents dramatically and created a better atmosphere for all, I would highly recommend these vape alarms in a school setting
— BROCKINGTON COLLEGE
The sensors are proving very successful, they were easy to set up and alerts are being received
— EMANUEL SCHOOL
The sensors have dramatically reduced the number of vaping incidents here at the school.
— CHESTERFIELD HIGH SCHOOL AND SIXTH
