Vape Detection for Slovenian Schools and Workplaces
Vape Guardian helps primary and secondary schools, faculties and employers in Slovenia notice e-cigarette use in toilets and corridors, sending staff an alert in about 5 seconds.
With designated smoking rooms phased out across Slovenia from the end of 2025, there is no indoor place left where vaping is allowed (Tobacco Control Laws). Here is how our system supports ravnatelji and their teams.
Education Alongside Enforcement
Our vaping education course, built with LifeLab at the University of Southampton, helps teachers explain why the rules exist.
Engineered In-House in the UK
The device and its software come from one UK team, which keeps support and updates simple.

E-Cigarette Rules in Slovenia
Slovenia's Act on Restricting the Use of Tobacco and Related Products (ZOUTPI) covers e-cigarettes, including nicotine-free ones. Using them is banned in enclosed public places and workplaces, and educational facilities may not have smoking rooms. Sales to under-18s are prohibited, as are online and distance sales, and since 24 April 2025 e-liquids may only be tobacco-flavoured (NIJZ). Sensors help you uphold these rules day to day.
Proven in Hundreds of UK Schools
Slovenian schools can use a system already proven in hundreds of UK schools, monitoring toilets without cameras or microphones.
